About Juanita and her mission
Juanita is a former Electrical Engineer and Georgia Tech graduate with a wealth of experience from General Motors and AT&T, where she led teams in Engineering, Operations, and Sales. Today, she leverages these experiences to inspire thousands, delivering keynotes on Achievement and Communication across the globe.
Juanita has been interviewed by Fast Company magazine, The Investor’s Business Daily, and she was featured on the Australian podcast “5 Minutes for Me.” As an Achievement Researcher, she was invited to contribute to an industry study in Munich, Germany, which explored the link between distinct personalities and goal achievement.
As the visionary behind the Get Sticky™ brand, she’s on a mission to empower professionals to not only set ambitious goals but to achieve them through memorable, impactful communication and sustainable habits. With a focus on making every message ‘stick,’ her keynotes are more than just learning experiences—they are catalysts for lasting change.
Fun Facts About Juanita
When Juanita is not on the road speaking...
- She can outplay her three kids at ping pong – take that!
- She can bake a mean pound cake.
- After high school, Juanita became an exchange student in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. Her host family did not speak English, which forced Juanita to learn Spanish. She now has a journal she cannot read.
- She performed her first stand-up comedy routine in 2019 at the Punchline Comedy club in Atlanta, GA. Sold out crowd of 200 in attendance. Lesson: “Stand-up comdey is not for the faint at heart.”
- She’s a faculty member with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and at least once a year she teaches Chamber of Commerce CEOs and Association Executives. Only downside: she may get lost on campus, trying to park in the legal zone. In 2023 she taught two IOM courses at the University of Villanova in Philadelphia, PA—and parked legally (as far as she knows).
